Intercourse helps sleep
If you have trouble sleeping, sex may be the answer for you. Here's what the scientific study found on the topic.
The results of a new study published in the scientific journal Archives of Sexual Behavior concluded that sexual intercourse helps people fall asleep, especially those who suffer from insomnia or sleep disorders.
Where the researchers in charge of the study indicated that the bedroom is designed for either sexual intercourse or sleep, and that the first would improve the second!
The researchers explained that the rate of sexual intercourse among couples has decreased in recent years compared to the 1990s, which in turn affects the quality of sleep as well.
In contrast, constantly decreasing the number of hours of sleep would cause a decrease in sexual desire, motivation, and romance between couples.
The researchers reported that during the process of sexual intercourse, the body secretes certain hormones, in particular the love hormone, which help a person sleep later.
As sexual satisfaction would positively affect sleep health, which is true for both spouses.
Finally, the researchers emphasized that it is necessary to achieve 7-8 hours of sleep every night, in order to enhance sexual health, as the relationship is reciprocal, as mentioned earlier.
